Abstract:
Open Source Victoria (OSV) is fortunate that Mr Simon Phipps has made time in his busy schedule to be our invited speaker at this event.
Mr. Phipps is the Chief Technology Evangelist at Sun Microsystems (USA), where he is responsible for communicating Sun's vision of current and future professional uses of Open Source software.
At this briefing Mr Phipps will explain how Open Source software fits into the complex and diverse array of equipment that makes up the modern computing environment.
